Much as the President has continuously called for social distancing among the citizens, some Ugandans have remained adamant and continue to do business as normal in these Covid 19 days.
Such was the case in Western Uganda when Authorities in Kabale Municipality on Wednesday carried out an operation in which they raided lodges and hotels, arresting 18 commercial sex workers and their clients.

The operation was led by Darius Nandinda the Kabale RDC and Brian Ampeire, the DPC of Kabale.
These raided places including Boombocha pub, Standard Hotel and T&J Club in Kigongi, in the Municipality.

These places are famous hubs for sex workers, and some of them are believed to have been visited by the Kenyan truck driver who recently tested positive for Covid19.

Nandinda says that they found the places over crowded with no body minding social distancing.
Authorities say the arrested will be tested and quarantined
