Singer Sasha Brighton has apologized to Da Nu Eagle’s codirector and mentor, Irene Namatovu, following her departure from the group.
The emotional gesture happened during Irene Namatovu’s press conference for her upcoming ‘Strong Woman’ concert at Serena Hotel next month.
It is here that Sasha spoke highly of Namatovu, describing her as a mentor for the love and support she showed her while she was still under her leadership.
She, however, revealed that her departure from the band was not done through the right procedure, and she believes it might have disappointed Namatovu, who she said loved her so much.

On bended knees, Sasha offered her sincere apology for her actions in the past in a tear-jerking moment.

“The woman you see loved me so deeply and I know when I quit the band, it broke her so much. I had never got the chance to apologize to you and I want to officially do it now. Please forgive me. I didn’t leave out of spite, but I left because of the rumors that were going around. I love you so much and I will forever be proud of you,” the emotional Sasha noted.
Sasha wished Namatovu all the best, expressed her excitement for the upcoming concert, and asked everyone to come through and support her.
