Her personal life had become a national affair, as internet users could camp at her socials to have a glimpse at what is transpiring in her life.
However, netizens realised that the singer had lessened sharing the proceedings in her life, leaving a few eyebrows raised.
While addressing the media recently, Rema revealed that she held back from sharing her achievements upon realizing that not everyone was happy about her accomplishments.
She went on to note that initially, she thought when she was happy, she had to be free and let it all out for people to see because it’s normal.

However, the responses regarding her wins and happy moments could have hit her on the nerves, hence embarking on keeping the proceedings in her life under wraps.
I realised you’re bad-hearted that is why I stopped showing you what has made me happy. I withheld everything good and now I show you what my heart desires.
But initially, I thought when you’re happy you should just be free and let it out and people see because it’s normal.
But I realised it’s not normal for some people. I no longer show you my proceedings because I was aggrieved. I keep my photos and I feel happy.
