Veteran singer and radio personality Rebecca Jjingo has addressed reports suggesting that she was once involved in a silent beef with fellow media presenter and singer Lady Titie.
Over the years, rumours have been making rounds suggesting that Lady Titie and Rebecca Jjingo were not seeing eye to eye over sharing a man.
During an interview, however, Rebecca denied the allegations, making it clear that they had never shared the same man. She claimed that she respected Lady Titie as her sister, and all the drama they used to do was to attract media attention and promote their shows.
“She has never been my co-wife. I can never go against those I share a clan with. What you saw before was out of love because she was like my sister. Some people do not know culture, but I was raised to respect tradition. What you heard those days was us trying to promote the program at that time, and UI couldn’t come out to explain to people,” Jjingo said.

The celebrated media personalities recently came together to release a song, further shutting down the rumours. “Bamulekere,” which is currently trending in the media, was written by Mozey The Writer and produced by Brian Beats. Just because they complement each other, fans thought they would become a duo.
“I asked her to do a song, and she didn’t refuse because there was no bad blood between us apart from the agenda that people were trying to push. We are too good, and we have no issues. We are currently working on a gospel song that will be released soon,” she said.
