Socialite, businesswoman, and reality TV star Deborah Cleave, commonly known as MamiDeb, has opened up about how her marriage to her husband, Michael Cleave, was met with resistance from strangers online.
MamiDeb, during a TV interview, revealed that during the year they were preparing to walk down the aisle, her husband kept receiving random messages from strangers on social media advising him against marrying her.
Without revealing many details or outing the culprits, she noted that they alleged they had enough evidence to stop Michael from making her his wife.
As an open and loyal partner, MamiDeb revealed that whenever Michael received a negative message about her, he would take a screenshot, forward it to her, and later block the culprit.
“There were those random messages, and the first ones were telling him not to marry me. In the year we were getting married, he got many messages from people saying they had proof that he shouldn’t marry me. Every time Michael gets a message, he will take a screenshot and send it to me, saying he is going to block the number. That is how he is. The crime would have been if I ever found a message and he hadn’t sent it to me,” MamiDeb said.

Michael and Deborah Cleave are one of the celebrity social media couples living a lavish lifestyle. The two met while in the UK, then tied the knot in a glamorous, colorful wedding ceremony in 2024. The much-anticipated wedding ceremony took place in the Maldives Islands, where they had previously gotten engaged.
