Music producer Edie Dee of Acton Records was over the weekend locked out of his studio located at Stella Najanakumbi.
Edi Dee who was at his studio veranda at the time of the interview revealed that he has worked with very many musicians but he has reaped dust.
The producer further narrates that for most of the songs he has done for prominent artists, they’ve been entering a gentleman’s agreement, and they promised to pay him after their music met their expectations.
However, these disappointed him, including Pallaso who never responded to his outcry when he reached out to him.
Teary Edie Dee further noted that he is currently choking on a rent debt of almost UGX 4M, and has no hopes of raising the money unless helped by the musicians he worked for.
He urged singers like Pallaso, Ziza Bafana, Feffe Bussy, and others who he worked for and never fulfilled their promises to help him foot his rental arrears.
According to Edie Dee’s landlord, Mr. Lubwama Robert, he locked the former’s studio following his promises yielding no fruit.
Edie Dee is the producer behind John Blaq’s “Tolina”, “Malamu” by Pallaso, and many other big songs.
