Renowned pastor Mondo Mugisha has expressed his interest in buying one of the Pentecostal broadcasting media outlets, Top Radio and TV, for UGX 1.5B.
A few days back, rumours made rounds on social media, suggesting that the Uganda Communications Commission UCC had revoked Top TV’s broadcasting license over an alleged failure to pay for the license.
Rumours further claimed that the media outlet had failed to settle its employees’ salaries and was ready to sell off the property for an undisclosed amount of money.
Responding to the allegations, Pastor, through his TikTok account, revealed that he is ready to take over Top TV and Radio for UGX 1.5B, and has already instructed his legal team to initiate the purchase transaction following the station owner’s approval.
Regarding the UCC license, Mondo made it clear that he is ready to settle debt and relocate the station’s equipment to his desired new location.
Pastor Mondo stressed that his decision was influenced by his desire to preserve the gospel legacy, rather than dismantling a media station founded on godly principle.

Mondo further claimed that he is ready to purchase land in Bwaise, with a fifty percent down payment on the table.
