    A bus carrying Covid19 Patients has caught fire in Gulu and burned to ashes.

    The bus belonged to Parliament of Uganda and was being used by the Ministry of Health to evacuate Covid 19 Patients.

    According to reports, the bus number No UG 0391 was carrying 25 COVID-19 patients from Kitgum to Kampala.

    The incident took place Koro in Gulu district.

    The Health Ministry spokesperson Emmanuel Ainyebyoona described the development as unfortunate.

    He told ChimpReports however, that no one in the bus was injured.

    “I am told that everyone on board was evacuated safely and there were no injuries,” Ainebyoiona said.

    “Right now we are working with the Police to ensure that the patients who were on the bus are safely transported from the scene to Kampala.”
