Singer Papa Cidy has openly called out Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone, demanding transparency regarding the royalties from the songs that they recorded together.
Jose Chameleone made headlines yesterday after he came out to announce that he had cancelled his concert and given the date and venue to King Saha, who was suspected to have had the same interests.
Just as he considered this arrangement, Papa Cidy begged him to look into the songs they recorded together, such as Daniella and others that were uploaded on Chameleone’s YouTube channel.
Papa Cidy argued that he invested a huge amount of money, and it was only right for him to get a share of the royalties.

“I have always known you as a good person, and that is why I am reaching out to you respectfully. You know how much I invested in those projects. I believe I deserve a paycheck from royalty collection,” he shared.

Papa Cidy, who relocated to London, further accused Jose Chameleone of non-payment following their recent London show.
“How are we supposed to survive if we keep working for free? I am only asking for fairness and for us to resolve these issues while we are all still here. I hope it doesn’t take a situation where someone passes away before appreciation and recognition are shown, like we have seen happen with Bobi Wine and Master Parrot. Please let’s address this matter respectfully and find a solution,” he said.
