As the race for Kawempe North MP seat by election hots up, we can confirm that Hajjat Hanifah Karadi who is set to come on an independent ticket is gaining ground.
After she was overlooked for NRM flag bearer, NRM mobilisers in Kawempe North have vowed not to let her down.
They have sided with her and are set to support and campaign for her in her quest to replace Late Hon. Mohammad Ssegirinya who died last month. The elections are slated for March which is next month.
Many see Hajjat Hanifah as the perfect candidate to solve long standing problems of Kawempe North.
She understands well the issues affecting the area and as a resident of the area since her university days, she is truly acquainted with the place and its issues. Former Wakiso District Woman MP and a big NRM mobiliser Hon. Rose Seninde is also in support of Hajjat Hanifah Karadi.
