Netizens are gutted by the death of Becky, a girl who has been trending on social media after being abandoned by her parents
A few years back, a girl identified as Becky surfaced on social media, with a story that left many touched.
According to Mr. Allan Luyirika, her caretaker, Becky was disowned by her parents after learning that she was battling HIV/AIDS.
Her mother booked her a bus which cruised her and dumped her at Fort portal bus park, before she was saved by a woman who was touched by her condition and put her under Mr. Allan Luyirika’s custody.
Upon running Becky’s story on different Vlogs, it attracted the attention of both local and international personalities who chipped in contributions toward her medical bills.
In different videos shared on social media, Becky could be seen struggling to breathe, but braved through, and prayed for fellow patients, and whoever spared time off their busy schedule to pay her a visit at the hospital.

Before her death, Becky was optimistic to enroll in school and pursue her studies to become a doctor who would save lives.
However, her goal didn’t come to life as her health condition deteriorated a few weeks back, and doctors did their best to save her life but she lost the battle today.
