NESA Environmental organization celebrated the International wildlife day in style at Lake Nakuru national park, a fortress famous for the Flamingoes.
The theme of the day was partnership for wildlife conservation on Friday, 3rd March 2023.
Several stakeholders joined hands to have a successful event led by NESA Environmental organization, Lake Nakuru team, Nakuru county government, Kenya Wildlife Service, Kivu resort, Lake Nakuru Lodge, St John Ambulance, among others.

The event started with a tranquil procession at Nakuru railway station ground where they were flagged off.
They marched through the town sensitizing the importance of conservation.

They executed clean-ups which took two hours at a distance of 3 to 4km.
Several schools were present led by Wanyororo primary school also participated where they presented a poem with the title “Let’s all pledge to protect our wildlife”.
They also presented a song requesting the leaders present to demonstrate what we all can do to save our wildlife.

Nesa environmental organization founder/CEO Loise Njenga lauded the different stakeholders for the collective role.
The chief guest Hon Kuria cut a cake with the children of Wanyororo primary school, who also demonstrated their football skills as a tool that makes them embrace conservation of the environment.
