Congratulations are in order for singer Lyto Boss, real name Katongole Derrick, who is set to walk down the aisle in a white wedding with his longtime lover, Cissy.
The news about the couple’s wedding was revealed on social media through an official invitation card shared with their guests. The couple will be exchanging their vows today, 26th August 2026, and hosting their friends and family at the reception at Garuga Tropical Beach.
The wedding comes shortly after Lyto Boss was officially introduced to Cissy’s parents last week in a colorful ceremony that was held in Seguku Katale in the company of very close friends and family.
Fellow musicians like Aziz Azion, Eddy Yawe, Amelia Nambala, Maureen Nantume, and Haruna Mubiru were among the few artists who graced the intimate ceremony.
Cissy, in the interviews following their ceremony, revealed that they had been together for sixteen years, living and doing everything together. She described him as one of the most loving men she had ever seen.
“We love each other, we understand each other and most important of all is that God is on our side. That is why we have survived for 16 years,” she said.

Lyto Boss, on the other hand, explained why he had taken so long without marrying Cissy, revealing that they were not in a rush and were waiting for the right time to avoid making decisions that would split them in the shortest time.
