Despite Ugandan musicians painting the internet with Alex Ndawula’s photos and griefing messages upon learning about the sad news of his passing on, these didn’t bother to attend his sending-off.

On 6th June 2022, one of Uganda’s legendary radio personalities Alexander Ndawula breathed his last at Nsambya Hospital.

The late’s remains were aligned at Capital Fm gardens on 8th July, where a public vigil and memorial mass was conducted.

Alex Ndawula’s body was later on Sunday, July 10th laid to his final resting place at Kyamaganda Village, Lwengo District.

However, Ndawula’s close friends, relatives, and fans were rubbed the wrong way, upon realizing that no Ugandan artist had graced any of the former’s burial ceremonies, despite contributing greatly to their music careers.

Lucky Mbabazi, a presenter at Capital FM, and her “Breakfast show” producer Bright took to their socials, revealing their dissatisfaction with artists who failed to pay their last respects to one of the stepping stones to their currently flourishing music careers.
