The Kyabazinga of Busoga, His Royal Highness William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, has met with a delegation from State House to discuss strategies aimed at accelerating development in the Busoga sub-region.
The meeting, held at the Kyabazinga’s palace in Jinja, focused on key areas including youth empowerment, education, infrastructure, and tourism promotion.
The State House team, led by senior officials, reaffirmed government’s commitment to working closely with the Busoga Kingdom to address poverty and enhance economic opportunities.
Kyabazinga Gabula commended President Yoweri Museveni for his continued support toward Busoga’s development and urged both cultural and political leaders to unite in driving progress across the region.
The discussion also highlighted ongoing initiatives to support youth skilling programs, agricultural productivity, and local investment in value addition.
This engagement underscores the growing collaboration between traditional institutions and government in fostering inclusive development and uplifting communities within Busoga and beyond.
