Dancehall singer King Micheal has opened up about his parenting style, saying that he has kept his children in the dark on the kind of life he lives outside their home.
Responding to her questions has helped him raise his children and protect them from the harsh realities of the celebrity world they live in; King Michael revealed that he has set clear limits between his work and his family, especially when it comes to how he earns his money.
He noted that his children didn’t need to know everything about him to preserve their innocence from the realities of life.
“I have been the kind of parent who does not allow his children to know what is going on and how I make money plus how I behave out there. I try so much to hide this because it is not an easy world,” he said.
As a father, King Michael noted that his job was to provide for his family while ensuring his children were raised in a stable home under the guidance of their mother. This keeps them away from the distractions that come with his career.

“I make sure that their mother protects them so much and also gives them a lot of time more than me because my job is to look for money and see to it that everything runs smoothly.My child doesn’t need to know the different things I do,” he said.
