Veteran singer Kid Fox has shocked netizens by revealing that he has not yet sired any children or even taken a wife, according to his mates.
Kid Fox, real name Steven Kiggundu, abandoned his career and relocated to Japan, where he has been residing for more than a decade.
During an interview with Galaxy TV, he revealed that he had come back not only to resume his career but also to see his mother and the rest of the family he left behind.
Back then, as one of the best dancehall artists, Kid Fox was expected to have women’s attention. He, however, stayed focused on his dream, challenging the belief that artists had children at their peak.
“It has been 14 years. I have come to see my mother. I never left behind any family of my own. I went solo. By the way, that is a mystery. I do not have a child, a wife; I’m like that at my age,” he said.
Even in Japan, Kid Fox revealed he never established any meaningful romantic relationships, saying life in Japan was not a joke.
He noted that he spent all his time at work, and after, he would just retire home, leaving him with no time to explore the pleasures that the country would offer.
“Even there, I didn’t marry. I do not have any children. Life in Japan is just work and going back to your house. Japanese women are not easy unless you opt to go for the spoiled ones; I cannot do this because I have principles,” he said.
