Since 2019, the Keddi Foundation has offered support and empowerment projects to different people as well as communities across the divide.
On Monday, 22nd April 2024, the Keddi Foundation provided relief aid to a single mother of two children, Angela Musiime whose house flooded after the recent heavy rains.
The foundation has rented a two roomed house for Musiime for a duration of one year, donated relief items as mattresses, bed sheets and mosquitoe nets with a cash reward of $1000 (at least Ug.Shs 3,800,000), officially handed over by the Keddi Foundation Director Dr. Steven Keddi.
Dr Keddi was accompanied by members of the Foundation and local leaders as Richard Ssekyondo (Entebbe Division B Chairperson), area councillors, Uganda Red Cross Team, Magwa Ssali (DP Spokesperson, Entebbe Municipality), the media and others.
“I am very humbled to the Keddi Foundation for this support. I will use the money to start a business to become self sustaining” Musiime remarked.
In the same vein, Keddi Foundation has also donated 100 pairs of gum-boots to vendors at the Nakiwogo Market (Port Alice).
In addition to the gum-boots, Dr Keddi also donated $100 (at least 3,800,000) to the market vendors to help them procure timber that will help in averting flooded parts of the market.
Keddi promised to provide more support to the people of Nakiwogo and Entebbe in general, where the main headquarters of the Foundation are found.
For starters, the Keddi foundation was founded in 2019, by Dr. Hon Keddi Steven, a Ugandan businessman and minister of God who lays down his life to transform Uganda and Africa from pressing life issues.
The Foundation is dedicated to facilitating the growth and empowerment of economically disadvantaged individuals with the overarching goal to foster success among individuals from diverse backgrounds, and a shared commitment to creating a more equitable and prosperous world for all.
