Legendary Kadongo Kamu singer Kazibwe Kappo Hassan has called out his alleged baby mama for exposing him in the media with accusations that he is a deadbeat father.
A few days back, a lady identified as Nabaweesi Jamirah appeared on one of the TV programmes claiming that Kazibwe Kappo had refused to take up his responsibilities as a father to their daughter.
Nabaweesi alleged that in 2006, Kazibwe, alongside Abdu Mulaasi, had a show in her village in Kyankwanzi. She claimed that they had a moment and she left with his phone number the next morning, telling her to contact him in case there was any problem.
When she later realized she was pregnant, she tried to reach out to the singer but in vain, which pushed her to expose him on national television.
Kazibwe Kappo, during a YouTube interview, expressed his disappointment with how Nabaweesi handled their private matters, claiming that he had earlier called upon all women who claimed to have his children to bring them forward for the DNA test. He claimed that Nabaweesi chose to run to the media instead of settling their issues as a family.

“Even when the results confirm that she is my child, I will still carry the other feeling that her mother annoyed me when she went to the news. She thought she was tarnishing my brand but I was not this person in my 30s. Besides, I had not denied my child, I suggested we go for the DNA and you chose the news” he said.
The singer revealed that blood samples have been obtained, and DNA tests will be carried out to ascertain his alleged daughter’s paternity.
