Dancehall singer Karole Kasita has opened up about the post-traumatic experience she had to endure after her concert.
Earlier this year, Karole Kasita had her ‘Power Within’ concert at the Serena Hotel, and despite registering a huge turnout, the singer revealed that she was traumatized following the criticism that came after.
Kasita stressed that from criticism about her performance to different artists not showing up despite having collaborations with them, a section of fans claimed they were cheated.
She added that instead of celebrating her win, the negative feedback online left her traumatized because she had to deal with the backlash.
“My concert left me so traumatized because people said a lot of harsh things to me about my concert. Sometimes I would even wake up in the middle of the night randomly because I heard voices. Everyone was saying whatever they wanted to say,” she said.

In order to deal with the stress, Karole took a trip to Paris, France, where she was able to unwind, noting that she came back weeks ago refreshed and ready to entertain her fans.
“But thank God I walked through that. My vacation helped me to heal completely from whatever was going on around me. Now I’m here fresh,” she said.
