Singer John Blaq, real name John Kasadha, has opened up on the rising number of feuds and tensions between artists lately, which has seen some resort to physical violence.
John Blaq is one of the few artists who have not publicly engaged in a fight or feud with either his fans or fellow artists. During a recent YouTube interview, he confessed that he was afraid to engage in violence because of the consequences it could bring.
Recently, the industry witnessed one of the biggest rivalries that involved the clash between Pallaso and King Saha’s gangs. There was bloodshed, which saw some of the members from both camps badly injured and hospitalized.
“Feuds are not interesting. You never know who they will beat up; you might think you are powerful, but then they beat you up badly. You never know the weapons that people are armed with: stones, pangas, and the rest. Lately things are different,” he said.

John Blaq explained that he had a lot of people looking up to him and depended on him for survival. He noted that he is currently the breadwinner of his family, and he couldn’t do anything to jeopardize that.

“How do they hear that a child who has been their breadwinner is no more. You have to have some shame for the sake of some people looking up to you and depending on you, those who cannot survive when you are not here. It is better to avoid what you can, be peaceful, and make money,” Blaq said.
John Blaq further noted that he didn’t want to take for granted the chance that his fans gave him to enjoy fame.
