Sex expert and media personality Ssenga Justine Nantume has revealed that she was the first indecent female performer in Uganda.
If you thought indecent dressing started with modern-day artists, you may have to think again.
During Sanyuka TV’s morning Xpress program in the real-life segment, Ssenga Justine Nantume shared her life experience as a media personality and sex expert.
Nantume revealed that in her youthful age, she was once a singer and dancer signed under legendary Kadongo Kamu singer Lord Fred Ssebata’s band.
During one of their performances, Nantume pulled up clad in a black long slit skirt, to showcase her dance prowess.
Little did she know that among the revellers, was a news reporter aiming at her undergarment. The news reporter published her photo at the newspaper front page, landing her in trouble.
The next thing she heard, Hon. Miriam Matembe was looking for her, concerning her trending photo in the newspapers.
This compelled Nantume to exit Kampala and hid in Luwero with her mother for 2 months until her boss Fred Ssebata picked her up since her saga had already lost momentum.
I was the first indecent female performer on stage. I got snapped by a news reporter who published me in newspapers.
The next day Hon. Miria Matembe started looking for me and I hid for 2 months.
