Hundreds of people last evening paid their last tribute to fallen Democratic party soldier, Joninah Nakamya Nakabitto at a special burial ceremony at Buwaya village over looking Entebbe International airport.
The fallen soldier, aged 39yrs was laid to rest at their ancestral family ground at a ceremony attended by several high profiled personalities including former Entebbe Mp Muhammad Kawuma, former Busiro South Mp Joseph Bakikuddembe, Entebbe RDC Haji Njuki Mbabali, Entebbe Mayor Vicent Kayanja Depaul and others including Democratic party supporters plus NRM supporters. And for over 5days, the family and others have been mourning the passing on of a political woman of substance after having joined the Democrats.
Joninah passed on Saturday afternoon after fainting at her home residence. She was rushed to Emmanuel Medical Center for medical attention where she breathed her last. The deceased is to be remembered for lots of political ideologies that have driven the democrats for leadership. Lots of testimonies have been documented since the passing on of the fallen soldier and irreplaceable women of substance.
Hon Balikuddembe in his speech said that the deceased gave him home work to draw political parameters for the party(DP) ahead of the 2020/21 political campaigns.
