Businesswoman, socialite, and reality TV star Mami Deb has revealed that she had considered walking away from Kampala Creme due to the negativity from her fellow cast members.
Mami Deb sat down with NRG Radio and broke down the different scenes that led her to almost abandon the show, which were particularly caused by influencer and cast member Umrah Murungi.
During one of their heated arguments, Umrah, in a bid to hurt Mami Deb, referred to her husband, Michael Cleave, as a coloniser because of his age.
She didn’t stop at that but went ahead and called her personal assistant, Ruth, a maid. This didn’t sit well with Mami Deb, who confessed that the name-calling drove her to a point of exhaustion and made her want to quit.

“That was so disrespectful to call someone a coloniser. Michael doesn’t get affected or fazed by things, but he said that was so low. And however much I would want to move forward with her, it would be so disrespectful to Michael.
If you want to piss me off, come for Ruth; outside my family, if you’re going to forever have a problem with me, come for Ruth,” she said.

Mami Deb vowed that she would never move on from Umrah’s statement and would never forgive her. She promised that there would never be any friendship between them.
“She is not someone I ever want to have in my life. Those are two very important people in my life. I’m okay, and I think she is okay where she is. Come for me any day, say anything about me, call me every name but Ruth, my husband, and my kids, you will want to be six feet under,” she said.
