Renowned politician Hon. Norbert Mao and his fiancée Beatrice Kayanja are celebrating their highly anticipated wedding today.
The couple began the process of legalizing their union earlier this year, and today marks the culmination of their journey with a wedding ceremony.
Norbert Mao and Beatrice initiated the proceedings with a traditional “Kukyala” ceremony and subsequent introduction in Wakiso a few weeks ago.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Mao’s family conducted a cultural ritual to bring Beatrice home following their introduction ceremony.
Today, on the 1st of June 2024, the couple will exchange vows at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Gulu City.
