The Ministry of Health led by Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine have praised the work being done by Christopher Nsamba
Nsamba manufactures automated Incubator that has so far saved 1238 babies in Mukono hospital.
Dr. Diana hailed the biological engineer for doing a great job.
“With other Ministry of Health
officials, we visited Nsamba Christopher’s workshop, the biological engineer who manufactured the automated Incubator that has so far saved 1238 babies in Mukono hospital. This is totally great,” Dr. Diana said.
Mr. Nsamba is finalizing the world’s largest incubator that accommodates 10 babies at ago.
The new incubator has unique specification like;
1. Hypoxia cell recovery, which recovers damaged brain cells in babies.
2. Auto/self service, equipment services it’s self by server command.
3. Power backup, can survive over a week without power.
4. Eliminates viruses in cabin.
Besides incubators, Nsamba manufactures drones. He had also started on the Hyperbaric Intensive Care unit designed to recover burnt skins without scars and electronically work as a pain killer to patient loaded inside. This stalled due to inadequate funding. Such skills!
