Singer Gloria Bugie has expressed her disappointment with Ugandans for criticizing her for her appearance at the Diamond Platnumz press conference.
A few days back, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz jetted into the country for her performance during the Comedy Store UG 10-year anniversary celebrations.
Ahead of the concert, several Ugandan creatives engaged in the press conference with the singer, including Bugie, who asked for a collaboration, persuading The Ben and Diamond Platnumz to give her an answer immediately.
The most awkward moment, however, came when it was time to take photos with the Bongo Flava star, and Gloria Bugie was in the foreground, acting strangely.
Social media users were quick to react, saying that she had embarrassed the entire country, something she said she was simply using the platform she was given to push her brand.

“Those saying I embarrassed them; were we raised together? Every day you keep telling me that I do not know how to sing but now here you are. Ugandans give themselves too much importance. I do not know you, we are not related and I’m tired of this,” she said.
