General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces of Uganda (CDF), has met with Sudan’s Ambassador to Uganda, Abdalla Hussein Eltahir Elobied, to strengthen military cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting in Kampala, discussions centered on enhancing security ties, defense training, and regional stability. Both sides emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing shared challenges such as cross-border security threats and peacekeeping operations.
Gen. Muhoozi noted that Uganda values its long-standing relations with Sudan and is committed to working together to advance mutual interests. Ambassador Abdalla expressed appreciation for Uganda’s role in promoting peace within the region and reaffirmed Sudan’s readiness to deepen defense partnerships.
The dialogue reflects Uganda’s broader efforts to strengthen strategic military alliances across Africa and beyond, ensuring preparedness and regional peace.
