Businessman Frank Gashumba has opened up about the journey of support and growth he has shared with his wife, Patience Mutoni Malaika.
Gashumba revealed that when he met Malaika, she didn’t own a car and used boda bodas and taxis for transport. He says he deliberately let her continue using Bodas for eight months into the relationship because he was testing her.
“I got Malaika when she had no car; she was using boda boda and taxis. I made her use a boda for like 8 months during our relationship to test her, and after I took her to a driving school.”
After she completed her driving lessons in January this year, Gashumba gifted her a brand new car, worth UGX 37 M.
He explained that the small vehicle was specifically chosen to help her improve her driving skills. Once she mastered it, he promised to upgrade her to a bigger car that would better suit her.
Frank Gashumba further stressed that he secured a career for Malaika, and she is already working to elevate her revenue stream.
The couple moved closer to their holy marriage last Thursday with a glamorous introduction ceremony.
