Entebbe RDC Issues New Security Measures for Christmas

As We Approach the festive days, New Security Measures have been issued by the Resident District Commissioner of Entebbe, Njuki Noah.

According to Mr Njuki, these measures are in place to avert a repeat of scenarios that have happened in the past that included mass drowning, robberies, chaos by drunkards among others.

These measures are set to be enforced by the Police in conjunction with Entertainment places operators.

These measures include;

1. Anyone arrested by police will not be released until 2nd January 2020
2. Drunkards and Children below 18 are not to set foot in the waters of Lake Victoria at any beach in Entebbe
3. Boda Bodas will be checked randomly for alcohol and illegal substances
4. Boat Rides will stop at 6pm
