Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo has been trending after being in a heated altercation with security in Kawempe.
Yesterday, Eddy Kenzo was among the many artists who rallied their support for NRM flag bearer Faridah Nambi in the Kawempe North by-elections.

Midway through his speech, Eddy Kenzo was asked to step down for the national anthem to be performed before the president’s departure.

However, Eddy requested more time to perform for the president, claiming securing an audience with him is quite challenging, a situation the event security team did not embrace.
In a video making rounds on social media, Eddy Kenzo could be seen pushing a security team member who who requesting him to vacate the podium, prompting bystanders’ intervention to restore peace.
