Singer Dax Vibez has spoken out about allegations that he intentionally snubbed Vinka’s recently concluded concert.
Vinka recently held a concert, and a group of netizens called for a boycott, saying she didn’t share their political beliefs.
Dax Vibez, despite having been present for the sound check moments earlier, didn’t turn up at the concert, forcing the Swangz Avenue singer to perform their collaboration alone.
Speaking during his recent interview, Dax refuted the allegations that the controversies stopped him from supporting Vinka, explaining that on that particular day, he had an emergency that needed his attention and couldn’t make it.
“No one stopped me from attending the show; they didn’t stop me from collaborating with Vinka in the beginning. Why now? I just couldn’t make it on that day because I got emergencies that needed my attention,” he said.
Dax further noted that he was able to reach out to Vinka on WhatsApp and in their conversations, she allegedly understood his predicament.

He denied any bad blood or misunderstandings between them, emphasizing that he was one of the people who pressured Vinka to stage a concert.
“We talked on WhatsApp and wished her the best and she took it. There were a lot of things going on in the media and her team called me in the morning. We spoke and harmonized and there was love,” he said.
