Singer David Lutalo has explained his decision to take several years without holding a concert.
At his prime, David Lutalo used to host a concert at the beginning of the year and proved that he had the ability to draw huge crowds.
During his most recent concert in 2024, he marked 15 years of giving fans hit songs back-to-back at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Since then, he has been silent, and his fans have been demanding his presence on stage. Lutalo, during an interview with journalists, revealed that taking a break was good not only for his health but also for his brand.
He noted that his being away created demand for his music, and just like any other job, the singer said it was crucial for him to rest and re-energize.
“I gave fans a break because it is needed sometimes. It creates demand and also gives someone a rest. Just like any other job, you work and get to a point and take a rest,” he said.

Even with the break, David Lutalo has continued to release music for his fans to feed on as they wait for his return on stage.
