Veteran actor, TV, and radio personality Charles James Ssenkubuge mourns the unforeseen death of his beloved wife, Agness Ssenkubuge.
The sad news of Mrs. Agness Ssenkubuge’s death came to light at the start of the week, sparking a somber mood among the actor’s fans, family, and well-wishers.
According to reports, the couple cemented their marriage with a colourful wedding over a decade ago, and they have a number of children together.
According to fellow actor Andrew Benon Kibuuka, Agnes experienced fibroid health challenges, underwent medical surgery, was discharged, and was receiving treatment at home.
Unfortunately, this morning, as her nurse went home to attend to her, she discovered she had breathed her last at their marital home in Makindye.
The death has been met with significant sorrow among Ugandans, with Ugandans taking to their platforms to express their condolences and keeping Ssenkubuge’s family in prayer during their difficult time.

According to the burial arrangements, a vigil is ongoing in Makindye, and a requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 at Christ the King Church, Kampala.
Following Tuesday’s vigil, the body will be transported to Ssanda-Nakawuka in Busiro for burial on Wednesday.
