Musician Ceaserous, real name Solomon Sentongo, has opened up on how he lost his relationship because of music.
Ceaserous achieved his big breakthrough with the release of ‘Dangerous’, which was one of the biggest hits in the country at the time. With this, he was one of the best-selling young artists in the industry, with a lot of bookings each day.
Speaking in an interview with Mr. Henrie, Ceaserous confessed that while he toured the country and enjoyed performing for his fans, his relationship with his girlfriend was hitting rock bottom.
Because of his busy schedule, he was hardly at home and never gave his girlfriend time. This affected their bond, forcing her to move on with her life.
“When I was at my peak, I didn’t give relationships time, and it was bad. It cost me a lot, and I cannot blame the other party. I blame myself. I was never at home. I was always touring. In a month, I used to have over 68 shows booked. I spent a lot of time away from home. I would have shows during the day and night. During my prime, I was very skinny because of a lack of sleep. Because of my busy schedule, I lost my relationship.”
Even when he blames himself for throwing away a beautiful bond, Ceaserous revealed that he doesn’t regret the outcome. Instead of sulking, he took the breakup as a life lesson that he used to better himself.
“I was young, however, I do not regret it because that is what life gave me. Anything that happened to me gave me a lesson, whether good or bad,” he said.
