The Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda has announced job vacancies open to all legible members of the public.
According to CAA, the vacant positions include a Trainee Fire-Fighter, needed to reinforce the preparedness, rescue and fire fighting team.
“Once through, the person will be reporting to the Assistant Fire Officer and will be getting salary rated at level 7,” CAA said.
Charged with the management of Entebbe International Airport and 13 other upcountry aerodromes, CAA carries out its work in conformity with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations and Standard and Recommended Practices(SARPs) to execute its duties.
“The available job slots are for suitable, qualified Ugandans of impeccable intergrity and commitment to fill these positions,” CAA said.
The other vacant position is for Assistant Operations Officer – Air Side Services.
The purpose of this post, CAA said, is to enhance apron safety by enforcing laid down rules and regulations, doing oversight supervision of all ramp activities on plan for the parking of all aircraft in compliance with ICAO, SARPs and CAA regulations.
