Singer Bucha Man, real name Mark Bugembe, has explained why he has not settled down and officially married his woman.
Bucha Man was one of the guests who graced Daddy Andre’s introduction ceremony in Busia, and during an interview, he revealed that Andre’s stepping up has greatly challenged him.
Bucha Man and Maama Ghetto, real name Claire Nanganja, met in 2006 and have been married for nine years, part of their 19 years together. Throughout this period, the couple has yet to make a bold step of officially walking down the aisle.
They only stopped at the traditional ‘Kukyala’ ceremony, and, giving his reasons, Bucha Man explained that, over the years of his career, he could have managed to save enough money for the wedding, but couldn’t because of the many women/partners in his life.
Bucha Man further explained that since a wedding was a religious affair, it would tie him down to one woman.

“As someone who has not done this, Daddy Andre has really challenged me. I have not introduced my wife; I only did ‘Kukyala. Not even a wedding. I would have collected the money needed for all the ceremonies, but I have many women. I have over six women. These functions are very good, but I never wanted to put restrictions on my women because when you decide to go this route, and then the weddings, they will start putting restrictions on you, saying you must have one woman,” he confessed.
