On Friday 22nd July 2022, singer Zawedde Priscilla alias Azawi treated her fans to a mouth-watering performance at Lugogo grounds.
By 3:00 PM, all roads were already leading to Lugogo grounds for the singer’s Guinness-sponsored African Music Concert.
As it has always been the norm, Pia Pounds, Pinky, Grenade, Zex Bilangilangi, Karole Kasita, and Matha Mukisa, warmed the stage, before Azawi was ushered in with fireworks at 10 PM.
The rest of the night was fun-filled, characterised by different memorable moments worth for keeps.
The Swangz Avenue singer commenced her performance with her 2021 hit song, “My Year” which left no one seated, as the audience danced and sang along.
There was no dull moment at the African Music Concert, as the self-proclaimed queen of vibe’s energy increased with every song that she performed.
In the course of her performance, Azawi was joined by Viboyo and Weasel to perform Nyumbani one of the trio’s greatest hits.
Before the dust settled, Azawi was joined by label mate Winnie Nwagi, sending the already charged crowd into a frenzy.
The “Fwa Fwa” star paused her performance, to thank her fans who turned up in big numbers to be the witness as she made history.
