Team No Sleep signee Ava Peace has given an update about her year so far, sharing the health condition that almost claimed her life.
Ava Peace, during her recent interview with Galaxy TV, opened up about the challenges she has faced this year, narrating her near-death experience earlier this year.
The singer revealed that she has been battling a condition that she was not yet ready to disclose, and it had been happening since her lower secondary school days.
This resulted in surgery and numerous visits to the hospital, saying that it took her close to six months to get back fully on her feet and is glad that her fans didn’t notice. She further noted that she chose to keep it a secret because she didn’t want her fans to get worried.

“To me the year wasn’t that good just because I chose to keep quiet and not talk about certain things. But this year I faced a lot of problems. I was very sick to an extent of a death bed, but I didn’t want to share because I did not want to scare my fans. I was in and out of the hospital. I have had issues disturbing me from senior 2 but I cannot begin to address them at this time. But I thank God that people didn’t know about it and I came out alive,” she said.
