Team No Sleep singer Ava Peace has addressed reports that she was behind the split of the budding 6ix Killaz girl group.
6ix Killaz was composed of Ava Peace, Nandor Love, Jowy Landa, Nina Roz, Zafaran, and Recho Rey, which came to light in 2024.
Since it had some of the top new school female artists, many anticipated that it would be a big thing in the industry.
However, after one song, ‘Kukyakala Na Kubwa’, the group disbanded, and allegations suggested that Ava Peace was behind the split since most of them were affiliated with Team No Sleep.
Ava, during an interview, denied influencing the split, insisting that she had no idea about it. Despite denying having issues with any of them, she made it clear that they were not on talking terms.
“Surprisingly, staying there I had no idea. I was just doing music. You know I do not bother people unless they bother me. But I think things just find you but I do not have any issues. I do not talk to any of them anymore. They are all not my friends. I didn’t distance myself but none of them is my friend,” she said.
The singer further noted that 6ix Killaz still has the ability to make a more powerful comeback.
