Singer Ava Peace, real name Namugonza Maureen Peace, has opened up about receiving many awards to the point of rejecting some.
For the past couple of years, Ava Peace has been at the peak of her career, winning multiple awards, including Artist of the Year and Best Female Artist at the Zzina Awards. She also received the Best Collaboration award for her song “Taabu” with Dax Vibez. Additionally, she was recognized as the Breakthrough Artist and Female Artist of the Year at the HiPipo Music Awards.
During her TV interview, Ava Peace reflected on the point in her career when she was overwhelmed by blessings, revealing that she scooped most of the important awards at a certain period to the point that she kept rejecting some.
“That time I received all the awards; I scooped them like water. I took every last one of them and exhausted them. In fact, some companies kept begging me to keep taking the awards, but I kept turning them down, telling them enough is enough. I didn’t know where to put them because I didn’t have space. When you enter my house, I do not have that space because the awards are many and everywhere,” she said.

Ava further explained that several companies and award organizers contacted her to pick up more awards, but because she didn’t have enough space at her house to keep them, she turned them down.
