The Entebbe International Airport is now set to beat Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as the cheaper point of transit. This follows the decision by the Ugandan government to scrap taxes on airlines using the Entebbe Airport. This scrapping of taxes will directly make it cheaper for transiting passengers to travel through Entebbe Airport. Several people are reported injured in an accident that occurred along Kampala-Entebbe Expressway involving two motor vehicles. Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) Media Relations Manager, Allan Ssempebwa, said the incident happened today (Saturday) morning. “No fatalities,” Ssempebwa clarified. It is not clear how exactly the accident happened. Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club annouced the first summer signing in midfielder Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi.
