The opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) is mourning the death of its activist, Rose Mugarurirwe. Mugarurirwe was reportedly killed by criminals under mysterious circumstances. Uganda’s counter terrorism services have foiled a bomb attack at Rubaga Miracle Centre, a church run by prominent preacher, Pastor Robert Kayanja. Kampala Police have arrested a one Ronald Taremwa for reportedly masquerading as an officer of Special Forces Command (SFC) to collect money from jobseekers, promising them government jobs.
