Hon Alice Kaboyo, the state minister for Luwero-Rwenzori, has touted the potential of the Busoga sub-region to transform from the stereotypical backwardness to a fully developed area that it used to be. “The notion that Busoga is a backward and poor region should be a thing of the past. 27 year old Table Tennis player Mercy Nabusano went missing after being caught in acts of lesbianism by her Husband, a one Ivan Mayega. The incidence occurred on 4th August 2023 at their home located in Busega. Nabusano went missing since that day living behind a 3 year old child. Parliament has refuted claims that it paid a tune of 3.12 billion shillings to Mama Bukedea FM, owned by Speaker of Parliament Anita Among, in her constituency, Bukedea District.
