Life is becoming harder for Brig. Gen. Moses Shaban Lukyamuzi and the ghosts of his ancestors seem to haunt him after he assaulted city Lawyer, Francis Xavier Ogwado petitioned the Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen. Wilson Mbadi over his unprofessional conduct plus his body guards.
The callous unprofessional body guards include Capt. Fred Kakumba, Mulangira Juuko, Hamdan Lutamaguzi and Emmanuel Kikawa.
It’s alleged that on June 24, 2022 while Counsel Ogwado’s client Pascal Bugonzi was clearing his land in Nkumba zone on Block No: 446, plot no: 435 in preparation for construction works, armed soldiers clad in army uniform attacked and caused a scene at the disputed land by firing live bullets at Bugonzi’s workers, in addition to damaging the grader at the site and confiscating the sow mill machine which they disappeared with.
It’s reported that on the fateful day, Counsel Ogwado attempted to confront the commander of the armed men at the scene identified as Capt. Fred Kakumba, he sarcastically told him that had been given Lawful orders by his boss Brig.Gen. Moses Shaban Lukyamuzi to destroy the grader without any excuses.
It’s also alleged that on June 13, 2022, counsel Ogwado telephoned Capt. Fred Kakumba on 0701556999 seeking direction to the place where the embattled Brigadier General operates with his body guards and fortunately got to the place to plead for the release of the Sow mill machine to return it to its owner but he was shocked when they asked him to cough something to get it back.
Counsel Ogwado further alleges in his petition that on June 22, 2022, the same group of armed soldiers commanded by one Mulangira Juuko acting on the orders of Brig. Lukyamuzi emerged in a white double cabin pick up registration number UAV 766C while armed to teeth made away with Bugonzi’s building materials at the site and loaded them on a truck registration number UBH 110B. The Lawless soldiers went ahead to destroy the barbed wires fencing the disputed land in addition to assaulting Counsel Ogwado by slapping, kicking and boxing him as if they were punishing a chicken thief.
In his petition letter dated June 24, 2022, Counsel Francis Ogwado wants the Chief Defense Forces, Gen. Wilson Mbadi, to intervene and ensure that Brig. Gen. Shaban Lukyamuzi and his body guards face the wrath of the law for their cruel acts.
