Legendary Afrigo Band singer Moses Matovu has been pronounced dead following an attack by unknown assailants.
According to Police reports, Matovu was killed this morning, 24 September 2026, at Kibuli Market Zone B, in Makindye Division, Kampala District.
He reportedly sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Kibuli Hospital for medical attention, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have since launched investigations into the matter, and the task team is currently at the scene conducting examinations to identify and apprehend the suspected assailants.
