Gospel singer Desire Luzinda has opened up on how she has handled her long-distance marriage with gospel singer Levixone.
During her TV interview with Spark TV, Desire explained that despite being miles apart most of the time, they had no reason to doubt each other. She attributed this to the love and trust they share, and they have always kept it alive through reassurance.
“I keep telling him everyday. We always talk about it; jokingly and seriously. It is a song on our lips all the time and I always tell him this as a reassurance to him,” she said.
Desire further explained that she has no reason to keep her husband around all the time to know that she can trust him. Despite being far away from him, she trusts him enough to live a peaceful life and enjoy her marriage.
“He has never given me any reason to doubt him. We are in a long distance marriage but I’m the most peaceful person on earth in my marriage,” she said.

Desire and Levixone tied the knot last year but didn’t get time to enjoy their honeymoon because they went straight back to work in less than two weeks after their big day. Even with this, however, the couple usually takes time off to visit each other. With Levixone in Uganda and Desire in the US, they are occasionally on a flight to link up.
