Kalifah Aganaga’s Nassanga Remix featuring Winnie Nwagi, Weasel Manizo and Lil Pazo Lunabe has finally been restored on YouTube following controversies over a copyright strike.
News about the Nassanga Remix being taken down on YouTube started circulating at the start of the week after they announced that the song had hit over one million views in a space of two weeks on the video streaming platform.
The strike happened on Tuesday, and after their research, they realized that deejay Junior Hassa tried uploading the instrumental but erred in ownership, and as a result, the original song received a strike.
Deejay Hassa, in a phone interview with NRG Radio Uganda, denied allegations that he was claiming the song, revealing that he was not aware that the song had been taken down. He made it known that he has since pulled down his instrumental and openly apologized to Kaliffah and his fans.

“I thought they would not make the song come off as mine. I was not claiming the song’s copyright and I thought everything was okay. They called me saying that their song received a strike. But I did something on my account and took down the content ID and the copyright law on it. I do not have money to pay them but I’m so sorry. Kaliffah and his fans should forgive me,” he said.
