Singer Chosen Becky, real name Rebecca Kukiriza, has opened up on how she suffered a miscarriage that saw her lose one of her twin babies.
A few months ago, Chosen Becky made headlines after holding her introduction ceremony with her now husband, Ssekajja, in Masaka. She made a fashion statement, especially with her bridal gomesi adorned with glitter and stones.
Sharing her experience, Chosen Becky revealed that these gomesis were beautiful and very expensive, but they came with the challenge of being very bulky.
At this time, she was pregnant and expecting twins, but the gomesis weighed heavily on her body, coupled with the pressure that comes with a traditional ceremony that involved moving up and down with no rest.
It is because of these effects that Chosen Becky bled for a full week following her introduction, through which she thought she had lost her pregnancy. When she went for the scans, however, the doctors revealed to her that only one child had been miscarried, leaving the other one intact because they didn’t share the amniotic sac.

“During my introduction, I was pregnant, and I bled so much because of the overweight from these gomesis. I was expecting twins, but the pressure of moving around, dancing, no rest, I lost my one baby.
But God helped me so that they were not identical twins, and each of them was in their own sack. I thought I had lost it, but when I went for a scan, the doctors told me that I had two babies and one had been miscarried,” she said.
Chosen Becky is still heavily pregnant and set to welcome her fifth child, but her firstborn with husband, Abdul Ssekajja.
