Media personality Bina Babie has responded to the numerous messages from men asking if they could be her sperm donors following her recent confession.
Bina Babie, real name Robinah Mbabazi, during her radio show, made it known that she initially searched for a man to donate his sperm for her to have children, but she did it out of desperation.
She described it as a mistake, but the men she approached were kind enough to discourage her and warn her about the dangers of what she planned to do.
Bina Babie thanked them for turning her request down because, at this point in her life, she believes she has met the love of her life and wouldn’t imagine mothering a child who wasn’t his. She publicly turned down the requests, emphasizing that she had moved on.
I don’t need a sperm donor anymore. That is a mistake I made in the past because I was desperate. Those that I approached were kind enough to put some sense into me, and I believe they were right.
I thought it was normal to go to someone, pay them, and they would give you their sperm, but when they explained further. This helped me so much because, at the time, I think I was in love. I want to thank them for refusing and then putting some sense into me.
Bina Babie confessed to fellow presenter Doreen Nasasira, narrating that, under social media pressure, she tried other methods to have children, including IVF. The clinic she visited advised that she needed a man to donate his sperm for the process to see if she gets pregnant. She approached four men, promising to pay them, but they all turned her down for different reasons.

Bina Babie revealed that she found the courage to talk about her experience, hoping it would help someone out there going through a desperate situation like she once did.
“Everyone has their history; just that I’m an open book. I believe when I talk about it, someone else might learn from it. Sometimes we rush and make mistakes; personally, they spoke more about it in the fertility center and pointed out its disadvantages. Anyone out there who is faced with this challenge and wants a child in the quickest way possible because they want to please society, kindly stop. The right person is the one you really want. Kindly wait a little longer,” she said.
